The final walkthrough tests delivery, not a new inspection bargain. Review the condition clause against agreed repairs, included property, and the records of what changed.

Define the standard

Extract the required condition, operating systems, vacancy, cleanliness, repairs, fixtures, and personal property terms. Compare each item with the executed contract and amendments.

Record exceptions

Date the walkthrough, list each difference, and link any credit, escrow holdback, repair promise, or closing extension to a signed document. Preserve photographs and delivery evidence.

Sources and limitations

Walkthrough rights depend on the purchase contract and local practice. This is issue spotting, not legal advice.
